The Institute of information and communication Technology (IICT) has been established by the Syndicate of RUET in its 77th Meeting held on 29/01/2016 (Memo no. 2542/16, Dated 08/03/2016). The purpose of the Institute is to provide a platform for teaching, learning and research in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) that will contribute to industrial and infrastructural development, economic growth and social prosperity.The aims and objectives of the IICT are as follows a) Promote and provide facilities for post-graduate study in ICT for graduates from various disciplines; b) Actively pursue advanced research in ICT in order to develop Knowledge-based products and services; c) Develop ICT facilities in order to create an oncampus environment conducive enthusiasm, innovation and enterprise, and to nurture innovative ideas and incubate promising initiatives; d) Produce manpower and expertise in ICT by carrying out training in diverse areas for those interested to step in profession as well as for those already engaged in profession and activities. e) Provide consulting and advisory services to public and private organizations.
The
